Must We Discuss Panties Again?

I've noticed a distinct lack of enthusiasm for my recent blog topics. You people clearly don't want to talk about writing, which leaves me wondering what the hell to write about. Panties again? Why are panties the most popular topic here at The Naked Page? Shouldn't we be embracing full-on nakedness? Shouldn't readers of this blog be more passionate about the commando look than the boy short?

Apparently not. I hope you people who were all rah-rah about boy shorts last year have come to your senses. I still do not look good in them, so they are a fashion trend I must reject, even though I own a few pairs of the dispicable things. Adding insult to injury, the only new undergarment trend I see in the Victoria's Secret catalog is the low-rise boy short. Bleh.

So come on, suggest a topic. If it's panties, okay, I'll play along, but what else is there to say about underwear that we haven't already said?

Honestly, james... i'm not offended by your topic this time round... but i really don't have any input on the subject. Well... okay... I like seeing a hint (or so) of thong... but other than that I really have no other input that's valuable. :-D

LOL, well, thank you for providing the much-needed male perspective here, even if you can't comment on which panties you like to wear. :-)

A hint of thong is always preferable to a hint of big cotton granny panties, right?

and that's a CHOICE?! ;-D!

As I reread my post, hint or more is what it should have said. But what it does say works too. >:-D

Btw... check out arkhangelspeaks. Gots a new blog up. :-)

Okay, I checked it out and left you a comment. Having a 30-yr-old crisis, are we? I had one of those. :-)

So, do you have any suggestions for a topic to discuss? (I think the thong panty thing has been played out, sadly.)

Jamie, it's your blog - you're supposed to blog about whatever you want! I like the blogs about writing. I like the blogs about non-writing. I just like the blogs.

I just wrote a "sayanora for the Xmas season" post for my on-line journal, although I haven't posted it yet. Too busy this time of year for blogging.

But, hey, I finally started working on my website re-design! Colours will remain about the same, but the font and the headers are different. Cripes, at this rate, I might even learn Wordpress by February and finally get a blog going. Then I can whine about no one leaving comments, too! But I'm so used to hearing myself talk and receiving the occassional response through email that I don't think it'll bother me, LOL.

Well, I had all that thong stuff in chapter 1 of my work in progress, but my agent wasn't all that thrilled with it.

I was going to blog about the perverted nature of Christmas songs, but I don't think I'm going to get around to it, so maybe you could. LOL

Like that Andy Williams "Happy Holidays" song. Is it just me, or does the phrase "dickory dock" bring to mind all sorts of nasty stuff? And lots of rhyming words that aren't sock or clock?

Hmm...well, it's not panties, and it does involve nakedness...sort of. Hope it helped. LOL

Cindy, I'm looking for suggested blog topics because I can't think of anything to write about.

Bethany, What was your agent's problem with the thong stuff? I thought that was all GREAT, so she'd better have a really stellar reason you should take it out or I'm going to badger you to leave it in.

Thanks Melissa...maybe you should save that topic for yourself though since I don't know the lyrics to many (any?) Christmas songs. :-) And I already ranted last year about how much I hate that Santa Baby song.

Well, everybody liked that damn scene (Carmen and Steph as well as you) but she wants me to show the progression of Sophie getting bad or more rebellious, not starting out that way. I'd like to keep the thongs and write it like she's conflicted about wearing them or whatever. But I don't know if it will be the same. I'd definitely like to keep the little Jamie reference in there.

oh and thanks to Noel that last comment was anonymous, hope nobody knows that was me. . . .

Why can't the progression of her character be that she starts out having that inner bad-girl side, and she slowly learns to be herself outwardly too?

Okay I've totally hijacked your blog with this, kind of. I'm working on it. If I think she's wrong I'll leave it, but right now I'm considering because where I start with her makes a difference to where she will go or whatever. Or how she will change.

My blog needs to be highjacked by someone more interesting than me, so don't worry. I'm feeling way uninspired in the blogging department.

James... you... NOT interesting?! Hmmm... what's that phrase I'm thinking of...

Oh yeah!...

I DON'T THINK SO!!! ;-)

Oh, I get it. I think you do pretty well! You might think you're boring, but we don't.

Hey, you're a Blaze writer. Why not post a hot guy of the week photo or something? Something like that every week that we can look forward to, LOL. You can scour model sites and call it "work."

Awww, thank you for the flattery Tim. (Your check is in the mail.)

A guy of the week photo...eh. I actually kind of hate beefcake photos. I think real guys are much more attractive than airbrushed models. But I could do some kind of weekly Blaze-related thing...will give this some thought. Thanks for the idea. :-)
