I was one of the judges responsible for Isabel becoming a Golden Heart finalist years ago (I gave her entry a very high mark). I love it when someone I judge finals and then sells. I can't remember if she sold the finaling book or another one, but I always feel, rightly or wrongly, a teensy bit like I've had a hand in getting them in front of the right editor.

Hey that's so cool about the judging thing! I would love it if a GH/Rita judge let me know later that they'd given me high marks on a book. I'll have to mention to her what you said.
She's not the only one I've judged in the GH who's gone on to sell, either. :) I give good GH! (to those who deserve it).
